Smells like poo, looks flaky, and label is pornographic
In searching for an unscented dry shampoo for dark hair, this product kept showing up. It had great reviews and everyone said it worked in dark hair and lasts a long time. I also liked that the scents are natural because I am really sensitive to parfum and artificial fragrances. I ordered the 1 oz jasmine scent. When the bottle came, I could barely get the sucker open. I had to cut it with a small knife and I nearly broke the plastic top in the process. One of my kids caught a glimpse of the image on the bottle, and that was a mistake! I obviously knew what artwork was on the can before I bought it, so that alone should have been a reason not to buy it for me, but I have allergies and had really hoped this would be a solution for me. I also wasn't thinking the label could affect my kids when I purchased. That was my fault. But why is normalizing pornography and over sexualizing our already hypersexualized culture ok? Why that image for your product?? In the description is says this product is great for mothers? Ok, well let me tell you that any mother that is worth her salt wouldn't want her impressionable children exposed to a drawing of a naked lady. I immediately covered the label with masking tape, but why should I have to do that? LuLu Organics, choose some different artwork for your product label, please!! Anyway, onto the actual product...I offered it to my 13 year old to try because she has oily hair and immediately she turned her nose up to the smell and said it smelled like poo. I didn't believe her at first but there is a hint of a poopy smell to it!! Then that became all I could smell. So gross. I tried it anyway thinking that maybe that smell would wear off. I felt like I had to use a lot of this product to make a difference and even though I watched a video, so I know I applied it properly, it still took a really long time to fully absorb in my hair, like a full 24 hours. Anytime I ran my hand through my scalp my hands smelled like poop and I got this unappealing white gritty stuff on my fingers. My hair looked chalky in certain lighting and it appeared like I had dandruff after brushing my hair. I just feel like $12 for this teesy bottle of basically poop scented corn starch just wasn't worth it at all. ANY dry shampoo is better than this, even corn starch! The smell and the chalkiness did go away after about 24 hours, but that's a long time! Too long for me. I'm returning this product.

GENUINELY Unscented & keeps my hair fresh !Sweaty scalp-havers unite!
I love this stuff! I have medium-thickness blonde hair with darker roots. I color it with Olaplex, so I don't wash it every day and have to be careful about the products I use. I'm also extremely sensitive to most scented products (I get rashes, headaches, sensory overload, etc.), and am ever disappointed by the lack of ACTUALLY TRULY unscented beauty products.Fortunately, this stuff is the real deal, and it works perfectly! Especially in the warmer months, my scalp gets pretty sweaty whenever I'm outside (and I'm outside a lot), and it makes me feel greasy and gross, even if I've just washed my hair. Once I'm back inside, cooled off, and my scalp and hair are dry, I apply the powder and my hair feels so much better.I apply it by standing over the tub, bending forward (so I can see my knees), and flipping my hair upside down. I shake a little bit of powder into my hand, put the container down, gently rub my hands together, and work the powder through a section of my hair (I usually apply it in a total of 4-5 sections). I generally start at or near the roots by working it in with my fingers and then "comb" it through the rest of the hair with my fingers. (Obv I repeat this with the rest of my hair.) When I'm done, I close the bottle and briefly flip it over the tub to ensure there's no powder on the outside. I then flip my hair back up, lightly run my fingers through my hair, and use a wide tooth comb to finish up and straighten my part.I've been using this for about 5 months now and am quite happy with it. I tend to use it 3 or 4 times a week (I wash my hair every 3 days), typically when I wake up with bedhead, feel greasy/sweaty from physical activity, or just need something to liven my hair up (especially when it's due for a wash). The powder is very fine so it does it's job without leaving any trace, even on dark roots and thick hair. I highly suggest applying it BEFORE you do your makeup, get dressed, etc. I'd also suggest rinsing your hands and giving your face/neck/shoulders a quick wipe down with a damp cloth after applying it to get rid of any excess. Lastly, I'd also definitely recommend just buying the larger size bottle of this stuff (It's like $28 but it's worth it, trust me), simply because its a better deal. Plus, this size bottle of powder is made of paper and cardboard that's a lot more sensitive to moisture (like picking it up with a wet hand); the larger size is more durable.

My hunt is over!
I found this at a little boutique in Detroit. At the time I bought the patchouli Amber scent (which I love) and was so happy to see I could get it on Amazon! This time I purchased the vetiver and black pepper and the smell is amazing too. I have never found a dry shampoo/hair powder that I truly love till I found this brand. I use daily after styling with fresh clean hair and it keeps the fly aways and frizz away and my hair feels so soft. I also use between washes to cut down the oily hair. I will never use anything but this brand my hunt for a good hair powder is over!

Gimmicky
Second product by this brand that was very disappointing. This dry shampoo doesn't work. I bought it for a camping trip where a shower wasn't applicable. It did nothing to make my hair look fresh. My roots still looked dirty, and actually, it caked on my scalp making my hair look worse. It's small. Insultingly small. I mean, come on. Throw us a bone here. The ingredients are cheap. You're basically paying for a cute bottle, which by the way, doesnt stay closed. Pro tip? Go to the grocery store and buy a bag of arrowroot powder and a bottle of essential oil. You'd get 10x more product. Don't waste your money. This is a gimmicky product.
