My order always comes on time and in good condition, so that is a big positive. I keep using this because I have thinning hair and my dermatologist recommended this for me to try. Not sure how much it does but for SURE my nails are much stronger and when I don't forget to take my pill daily, my hair seems stronger as well - not thicker... just stronger.

The taste is fine, smooth vanilla coating. I started taking these, and a few months later, I looked at my hair, and was surprised to see that the top and sides had started to fill in, and it was much thicker. I stopped being so diligent about a year later, and slowly the hair started to thin again, so you need to be consistent. Elon makes a few different products in this line, so look around. Very happy with this product.

I wrote a review for this product over a year ago and want to give an update. I don't know what I would do without this product. I take both this and the Matrix 5000 without vitamins, once a day. Before I started taking the product, my hair would come out in the shower and it was thinning from loss of hormones as a naturally occuring aging phenomenon. After just a few months of use,hair loss had stopped, there was new hair growth all over my head and my hair was somewhat stronger. Now, after two years of taking this product daily, my hair is extremely strong and much thicker. New hair continues to sprout, so I have masses of new, short little hairs that will grow out to full length over time and masses of older growth that is now about 4 inches long. This product doesn't just make the texture of your existing hair fuller and stronger, which makes for better volume....it actually causes you to have a tremendous amount of new hair growth that is REAL volume. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for this product. I used to never leave the house without putting in mousse after washing my hair. I haven't had to use mousse to add volume to my hair in over a year. If you want a volumizing shampoo, the best thing ever is a shampoo by Kevin Murphy called Angel Wash. There are no sulfates to strip the moisture and color out of color treated hair and hair is left soft, very full looking and shiny. Get this product at a salon that carries it. It's expensive but worth every penny.

I have new hair growth around my hairline, but best of all is that my nails aren't breaking off anymore. I have been taking these supplements for about 6 months, and saw results after 2 months. The vanilla flavor is a plus!

I have been taking these for about 8 months to try to stop my nails from breaking, and it works. I still can't grow my nails long, and I hesitate to use them to pry, but I have been able to stop cutting them to the quick to ease breakage. It's been particularly transformational for my toenails, which no longer break inside my socks. It's only life-changing after the fact: no more reaching for the clippers I have stashed absolutely everywhere (including my car) to trim the latest split or rip. Obviously YMMV, but if you decide to try these (or the 3000), then give it a few months, because that's how long it takes for the improved nail to show itself.
