Q: Do these 5050 connectors require soldering or do I just snap the connectors to the extension cable and they’re good to go?

Just snap and go. No soldering needed. They just snap on... but you have to make sure you cut the led strip so the connector makes contact.

Q: Does it come with a connector that connects a 4pin to a ribbon?

It very easily connects the ribbon wire to the strip lights. Just double check the connection with a little "agitation" maybe before final installation.

Q: Is anyone having issues not being able to access the full color spectrum when using these? I am only able to see different variations of blue.

It means there's a poor connection. The metals pins inside the connector will touch each color individually. If all you see is blue it means only the blue wire is touching the pin. It can take some playing around to make sure all the pins touch all the wires on both ends.
