Q: After i open the lock upon delivery of the bag, must i set a new code on the lock or can i just ignore use of the lock in general?

You don't have to set a new combination, but then you'll risk airline employees opening your suitcase and stealing items (happened to me years ago the one time I flew with an unlocked suitcase), so I strongly recommend setting a combination. It's very quick and easy.

Q: How long is the handle at full extend?

Delsey Clavel 30" bag is what I have. Floor to top of bag is 33". Handle extends up an additional 8" above the top of bag. I have no idea the dimensions on a 19" bag.

Q: How do you reset combination to new combination

Set your new number combination and there’s a small button metal next to it by using object like a pen then push it.
