Is it just a box or 12 eggs included there?

To be more precise, there are 12 Hatchimals included. 10 eggs and 2 are not in eggs.

Does the glitter get all over the place? Does it come off easily? Getting it for my granddaughters and their moms will not be happy if they have to

No glitter is glued on part of product does not come off.

why does this say style vary but then the style specifically says jewelry box royal dozen?

Because there is more than one color egg crate, which would be the ‘style’. It really doesn’t matter which color you get though because there will be duplicates throughout all the Jewelry Box Royal sets. We got a teal and a pink and had at least 3 duplicates.

Does each dozen come with a random assortment?.. Or will the same color carton contain the same ones each time?

They are a random assortment - occasionally you'll get a duplicate but I've never had the entire set duplicated.
