Easier and safer than the good old smoke-wrench! Being able to safely heat up a rusted bolt right next to a fuel tank is awesome! Tool works well, has several different elements depending on what you need, and comes in a solid case to protect the tool. Definitely a life saver, preventing the frustration of broken bolts, drilling, tapping, etc!

I was I little skeptical of how this would work on removing rusty nuts. I have spent years using the gas wrench or die grinder trying to remove exhaust bolts and being only a little successful. Well when facing removing the cats and exhaust pipe off my daughter’s car to do the oil pan I thought I am going to try an induction heater. Well in less than a minute I had the first nut off and the stub saved. Five more times and worked perfectly each time. This has become one of my favorite tools and a must have for any mechanic. Will never go back to the old way again!

Works good, surprised how well it works considering the price point. I got the version with more attachments than most, figuring it would be more versatile.Works just as advertised, anything metallic inside the coil gets heated up rather quickly. Takes less than 30 seconds to get a 1/2" nut red hot, to break it loose from the bolt. Note I am meaning a nut that fits on a half inch bolt (fits a 3/4 inch wrench). It does this using electricity and magnetism and no open flame.The coils should work as long as the insulation holds. The insulation seems pretty heat resistant but if you wobble enough that it touches a red hot bolt, it will melt a little and smoke, so protecting it while in use should help them last longer.Overall it works very well, and at a decent price point. Just a few years ago, a similar tool would have been more than double the price.

This tool is worth having especially if you’re working on rusted exhaust fasteners . This tool heats up the nut very quickly and enabled me to remove several rusted exhaust fasteners without breaking them. Much easier and quicker than using a propane torch. Worth having on hand for those types of applications.

Worthless don’t waste the money!! It over heats in like 60 seconds and won’t turn a 5/16 nut red at all like the pictures. DO NOT BUY THIS PARTICULAR ONE!!!!

Bolts get pretty hot pretty quick. It's a bit bulky and the case is kinda wack but it does the job.

In videos and pictures I’ve seen using this machine, bolts get red hot and fast. That is not the case with the one I bought. The one I bought will not make anything that hot and will barely get two bolts hot enough to remove before it overheats and shuts down. I would not buy another one, or recommend. And probably won’t use it again unless I have one random bolt that I can’t cut off with my grinder. In summary: It works, but barely.
