Brilliant idea, simple to use
This product screwed on easily to the male end of my 100' garden hose. After attaching that to my electric tire air pump, all the water in the hose blew out of the unattached end so that I could store the hose safely for winter. The process did not require an air compressor, just a simple electric tire pump. The product makes it easier to winterize a garden hose by a senior citizen without having to wrestle with a hose heavy with water. This valve is made of brass for durability. I recommend it.

Great find
Bought 2, they are great! I can now fully winterize my pipes without calling a plumber! Screw right on (used a bit of Teflon tape to ensure right fit), hook up my portable compressor, turn shine valves and done! Wish I would have found these years ago!
