Best shoes last forever

I have worn Scarpa relaxed shoes for many years. They have always been beautiful and comfortable. The Mojitos are "casual", but are also more like sneakers than the previous models. I love the color of my new pair —a light sort of artificial blue with a drop of quintessential purple only maniacs like me may detect —the color of these shoes is awesomely beautiful—, and the leather outer body is simply nice and lovely to the touch. There is something about this new model that is not quite "it". Maybe it is too much like a simple sneaker and that feels like an overkill not aimed at walking but rather at running. Anyway, I wear them when I am not at the office. Instead of purchasing an extra pair with another color, I will wait for the new model...

This is the second pair of Scarpas I have bought. The first I bought on a hiking trip when my tried and true Merrill's fell apart. Both pairs have proven extremely durable and comfortable. They are great for medium difficulty trails and easy rock scrambles. Very lightweight. Easy to break in. Keep in mind that while the soles are waterproof the upper shoe is not. These shoes are best if you don't need a lot of ankle stability.

I have been wearing Scarpas for years! The fit like a glove, have great support & last for miles and miles and miles of walking!

The shoes are adorable but I am going back to my Scarpa Zen's if I do any kind of real walking or hiking. These do not have the right support and hurt after wearing them for a day out shopping at the mall. So I do not think they'd be suited to the trails.

This is my second pair since my first pair is wearing out! I travel a lot and work in outdoor resort properties, this shoe gives me the needed support and comfort of an athletic or hiking shoe but with less bulk in packing them in a suitcase and way more style. My feet are happy after 14 plus hours of walking on paved and rough terrain in them and my ego is pleased by the many compliments I receive by men and women on my cool shoes. Now, what's not to like about that?

I left this at 5 stars because the shoes deserve it. But the seller sent me the wrong size, which I've noted in the reviews from others. The shipping was fast considering they came from Germany in 4 days. I was not able to select sending a different size during the return process and could only select refund. Disappointing experience. If you are not familiar with Scarpa, they make great shoes and would highly recommend them, just find a better seller to buy them from.
