Vital Proteins, Hydration Collagen Tropical Blast, 0.39 Ounce, 7 Pack

I bought these for extra hydration and for vacation as we would be doing some drinking and I didn't want to feel poorly (I am a light weight! lol). I even used them for a wedding, passed them out to all who were partying the night before and they all said it made them feel better fairly quickly. A celebrity wife uses the other hydration electrolytes that you buy at the big box store, but if you check the ingredients on them they have a WHOPPING 11g Carbs and 11g Sugar! Whoa!!! Nope - so when I found these I was very happy. They have only 1g of Carb and Sugar each. So much better for your body. You need Hydration, not all the sugar added with it! Try these, they're awesome. The taste is a little koolaidy, but not bad. I just add one packet to a bottle of water, shake it up and you're good to go!

I love all the vital products so I was so excited when I found their hydration product. It was soooo disappointing to find that it is incredibly inedible. As even mixing it with double the amount of water to dilute it a bit it just has an overwhelming medicinal taste. Almost like robitussin. So gross.

So, shipping was on time, minimal box damage, and the packets are convenient for on the go electrolyte-protien supplemental ness. But the taste is hard ti get over. At first it’s like a sweet tropical punch kinda like a bundle of car fresheners but the aftertaste is fizzy and bitter.

I gave it 5 stars bc it helps with my hydration when I need it the most, esp. when at work. I give 1 star for the flavor though — to me it taste like a really awful cough syrup! I’m going to stick with the orange flavor.

The Tropical Blast flavor was terrible! I’ve had vital proteins collagen powder but never had tried these before they are awful!!I can’t describe the taste exactly but I couldn’t drink it either, it was almost like it had fizzies, like a sparkling drink but it was definitely not sparkling.I could not even finish it.My poor boyfriend was sick and I ordered this for him to stay hydrated. I made him drink 2 packets before I finally tried it and believed all he’d been complaining about. It’s terrible tasting!!!

I like to use these after drinking or an intense workout. I like that they are low in sugar but the flavor isn't all that great.

The directions say to put it in 12 fluid ounces and mix well. I put it in about 17 fluid ounces and mixed really well. The water turned a white color, which I thought was weird because flavor packets either stay clear or resemble the color of the flavor. It was also bubbly. The mixture changed the whole texture of the water. It was terrible. I added ice. No luck. I had my husband try it and he spit it out. The texture is like slime and it has a weird taste. I would not recommend at all. In fact it makes me very nervous to try any of Vital Protein products.

I love all vital protein products. This is probably my fave because not only is it delicious, but I can take it everywhere. I usually buy the big tub of vital proteins collagen at Costco cause I love to put it in my oatmeal and coffee. Once I started school, I wasn’t able to include collagen in my diet so I had to turn to a new product. This was a life saver :) I totally recommend.
