Big and sturdy, takes strength to cut big things
I really like these. They'll be hard to damage, which is just what I was after. Like others have said, a 2-1/2 or 3" branch may fit in the blades but you'll be hard pressed to actually cut such a branch unless it's made of very soft or weak material. Loppers with compound leverage make such cuts much easier but I haven't found one with blades as thick and sturdy as these, so I tend to bend their blades over time and wear out the hinges, and it doesn't take much clearance between the blades to make them much less effective. I doubt these will suffer that fate.

Got tired of fighting with my old loppers
I felt like my old loppers were just slightly better than my hand pruners. Had a chance to use a pair of the Corona loppers why doing trail maintenance and immediately knew I needed a pair. They make short work of large limbs. They are very sturdy and cutting head doesn't flex at all. I'm super glad I found them. Which I would have known about them years ago.

Great loppers
Solidly built, sharp and cuts easily. Would be considered heavy for some users, but I need loppers that are sturdy for all the cutting I do and these get the job done.

Tough Durable Loppers
I rated it four stars because these loppers do have some down sides to them. It's hard to cut anything more then two inches, it requires repositioning the blade on the limb and a lot of muscle, but they can do it. Because the blade and jaw are thick forged steel, they tend to be a little heavy on the end. Which would wear you out quicker, then smaller / cheaper loppers that have replaceable blades and are not forged. But the upsides are, these things are tough, with the aforementioned forged steel blade and jaw, they will last for decades. With regular sharpening they will cut just as good as new, and hold there edge longer then other loppers. You can use either a flat file, or Corona's AC 8300 Sharpening Tool. They have heavy duty metal tubular handles, so don't worry about bending or breaking them when you give it some muscle. When it comes to stuff that's thicker then either 1.5" or 2", I just whip out the chainsaw to make my job easier. Remember, these are bypass loppers, not ratcheting type loppers. So they are going to take more muscle to cut through a thick limb.So to sum everything up... If you don't mind putting some muscle into them, and want a pair of loppers that will last for decades, then go ahead and buy them.

Amazing
I've had these things for about 4 years now and all I can say is best ones I have ever had. I have disassembled so many trees burning with these and depending on how the wood is fresh pine oak or old and dry these things just cut. I regularly put a handle to my chest to cut something I probably shouldn't and they come through. Get not half way through and it stops. Probably should get a saw anyway. These are not for the faint of heart or twisty mustache skinny jeans or lofer guys. I'd buy another set just to have Incase they stop selling them. Last loppers you will buy in my opinion.

Corona SL 6500 32-inch Super-Duty Bypass Lopper
This pruner is too heavy for me to hold outstretched or over my head. It is sharp and powerful. Also, it is not what I expected from the photo.
