It should be noted that soaking for undulylong periods causes loss of active constituents and diminishes thetherapeutic properties, although the mechanical effects on the teethcan still occur.The end: Before Miswaak is used, the end should be washed withwater. It is then chewed repeatedly until the fibers stand out like thebristles of a toothbrush. These fibers should be trimmed every 24hours.When to use Miswaak:In general, the Miswaak should be used a minimum of five times aday. However it is recommended to use itall the time, whenever possible.This is how a miswaak should be used.
