The only bad thing I can say about this item is that DeWalt should put some kind of shoulder strap on this unit. My wife uses it so I did a small modification and installed a shoulder strap from an old laptop bag.The unit is very powerfull and great battery life (5000mah).Also easy to store since the device folds in two.

I really fell in love with it, this was great, i didnt want a battery as i had a few already. I am able to do my front yard and backyard on a 1.4ah battery doing high speed. The string is thick enough to cut through the weeds/grasses etc, unless you got a jungle (i havent tried on that yet). For a normal urban house (yard) this is great, the folding bit helps with the space issues.

This is an excellent weedeater, the battery will last about 40 minutes when you use the trimmer on high speed. I have three batteries for this weedeater, and a charger that will charge two batteries at the same time. THis way you can cut for almost two hours before all the batteries need to be charged up. The line is very easy to replace on this, it is lightweight, and easy to use.

Slight balance issue, little awkward at the beginning but can be overcome by resting your elbow on the battery. Used a 6mha battery for about half an hour and still showed a full charge. Need to let the battery rest and cool down for a bit before putting it on the charger or it will show a hot battery warning.
