I use this on my pontoon. I like the length and it folds up and stores well.

Not as big or convenient
Could be easier to use and unfold. Kinda quirky. It does fold up, but seems cheap. Haven't used it yet time will tell. I put it in my fishing backpack and it works for that.

Doesn't fold up on you when using it.

It collapses too easily.
I was using it to catch turtles in a golf course in shallow water. For my purpose it was great. The extension handle collapsed often but it was still OK for me.
