multiple cross country treks
Purchased this roof rack for my new raised camper top. Installed it and loaded it up with ladders and pipes and various things and travel from Texas to South Carolina and back three separate times. Has had no issues. Yes I guess I recommend this!

A simple solution to teh ladder rack problem
Take your time to install and pre drill the rack, not the bed cover!You will need some clear silicon to water proof the top holes.The uprights at the edges are a little short but will keep stuff from sliding off.The posted weight limit is 400#, I give it 200#. If you lock up your brakes with 400# on top you are going to have issues. (It's not a design issue, It's just physics and the way it's mounted.)
