Ladybird Tales Classic Collection - Hardcover Book Box Set

The books came pretty swiftly by post. I was happy with the quality of the books. I have 1 complaint. The stories were an extended/edited version of what I grew up with. I was looking for the same as what I grew up with for my kids

Excellent, Highly recommended seller.Lovely box set of great stories.Bought this set as a gift for my newborn daughter. My parents used to read ladybird books to me as a child and they were also my favourite books when I was learning to read. I hope my daughter enjoys them just as much as I did. The box set looks great, unfortunately my set had two Rapunzel books and no Gingerbread Man, obviously a mistake when they were being packed and nothing to do with the seller. I contacted BOOKS4USUK via Amazon and they very kindly and quickly sent The Gingerbread Man book out to me so I could complete the collection. Excellent service from a great seller. It will be the first place I look in future when looking for books. Thanks again.

I bought these to read one each night as inspiration for a digital course I'm creating. I loved Ladybird books as a child so was delighted to find this collection, though I think I prefer the original animations in the version I had in the 1970's

Good quality books with clear modern illustrations. Only four stars because these old fairy stories seem to have been shortened & written to be less scary than the originals. This probably makes them more appropriate for younger listeners & my granddaughters were familiar with a few of the stories from the cartoons made from the original ones. The box holding them is sturdy & they arrived undamaged.

Very classic just the same as my husband used to have when he was small and now he’s 42. Books were exactly as he remembered just a bit bigger which is a bonus. My 3 boys loved them and there’s stories in the collection they haven’t heard about. Good buy and they would make a excellent gift for birthdays.
