Simple solution for modernizing aging PC cases
I have a fondness for older PC cases, partly because I still use optical drives. I recently updated a motherboard and this worked well to add USB 3.0 to the front, ridding it of the last floppy drive in any of my systems.

Fit and finish is mediocre but works as expected, warranty statement questionable 3 vs 12 months
I attached this to my ASUSTek B450M-A motherboard in my Antec 300 case. As many other reviewers said, the screws provided were not useful as they were too short but I had some screws that worked fine. Pushing a usb thumbdrive into each slot was a bit tight and required some force, but acceptable as otherwise the usb drives were detected correctly. The faceplate is not quite squared up so that one corner area sticks out where the opposite side is a bit in kind as if the faceplate is slightly twisted, but it still fits well enough, it just looks junky. I always worry when a product is a bit ragged in quality as I wonder how long it will last. I chose this over a UCEC Front Panel USB Hub, which I have on another PC, because the UCEC wasn't the greatest quality either. This just might just be the state of the industry in these kind of devices, which is sad for us who like to build and mod our own PCs.Update: The card put in my package by the seller Excelity says the warranty is 3 months but the user manual says the warranty is one year.

Does What I Need for an Affordable Price
This is a no-frills panel that brings two USB 3.0 type "A" ports to the front of your PC. It fits perfectly into a 3.5" drive bay. This is not a "hub" per se, but rather two ports connected via a cable to a 19-pin USB 3.0 header on the motherboard. Since it doesn't split the data path into additional ports, there is no speed loss. It is well-built, the connectors fit solidly, and the connecting cord is rugged and long enough to easily reach just about any motherboard header. Other hubs provide multiple "A" and/or "C" ports if you need them, but they also carry a higher price and loss of speed due to splitting the data path.

Great addition to older cases
If you wanted to add usb ports to a rebuild using an older case with 3.5 exterior opening bays

Passive two-port USB3 panel works like a charm
This installed cleanly into a floppy-drive slot in my case. I did need to trim some of the plastic of my case's opening, but that's the fault of the case, not this mounting bracket. I'd have had to do the same thing if I'd mounted something else there.Once mounted, I was able to plug the cable into my motherboard's internal USB 3 header (no problems with cable length on my system), and now I have two USB 3 plugs up front where I can reach them conveniently. I'm writing Linux images onto MicroSD cards and this really helps. In case you're wondering, I use a SanDisk SDDR-B531 adapter to write to their ImageMate Pro or Extreme Plus MicroSD cards and see 70-90 Mbytes/second write times. Read times are upwards of 125 Megabytes/second. No, I don't work for them and and haven't received any products/payment for mentioning them. I'm just a happy customer, especially now that I don't have to reach around the back of my computer to get to my USB 3 ports!

Build quality good, but wrong length screws and too wide to fit case.
This unit looks great, build quality is great, and it performs its intended function perfectly. That being said, it is all true that the other reviewers have stated. The face is about 1/2 millimeter wider than it should be and you will almost certainly have to modify your case to make it fit.Add to this the fact that the screws are exactly 1/2 as long as they should be and this unit would be a nightmare for the average person to get installed properly. The only way I was able to get it installed is that I had screws left over from another similar unit that I bought from China that was defective so I was able to use those screws on this unit. If not for that, I never would have been able to get this unit properly installed with the screws that came with it.-1 star for including the wrong length screws and -1 star for being physically too wide to fit my case for a total of 3 stars.

Doesn't fit
I tried this in 5 different case builds before I gave up and threw it out. The bracket does NOT fit a 3.5" case opening. The measurements are off just enough so it will not seat properly in a 3.5" opening. Poorly made.
