I use it as a true sketchbook. Not for a finished book of mini-masterpieces, but a workbook for working out tricky bits in my paintings. It takes water mediums but no ‘scrubbing’ and must dry thoroughly before second washes. The pages warp badly after water, and will never again lay flat. Graphite erases beautifully and it takes lots of abuse from my blending stumps.

Primero se lo compre a mi hijo y después uno para mí. Pinto con colores y la hoja resiste bien sin que se ponga fea o se desgaste. Mi hijo lo usa con plumones y aunque traspasa un poco, la hoja no se corruga ni se ablanda, solo basta con poner un cartoncillo para que no traspase a la siguiente hoja.

This is an ideal art journal pad for those who like to experiment with different mediums. The paper is heavier than standard sketchbook paper but less so than good watercolour paper. It will curl from the bottom edge with wet mediums, but that is not a big flaw in my opinion because otherwise one could be spending a fortune on paper just to experiment. It doesn't easily tear or pill even with lifting paint or repeated brushing. I have been using these Canson XL Multi Media pads for years because of their versatility and good value.

Papel muito bom para guache, aquarela e acrílica. Porém não é muito grosso, não aguenta muita água. Indico para todas técnicas de desenho a seco também. Estou usando para estudos com tinta acrílica em camadas bem finas. O tamanho é ótimo, um pouco maior que A5. Compacto é leve. Cabe na mochila tranquilamente. Porém achei a capa um pouco fraca, ela fica arrancando.
