Q: Would this be ok to secure behind a wall mounted tv to supply the power to the tv, games console, led lighting etc.....

It usually placed on the desk, table, floor or serve for the server rack cabin.To mount on wall, we not suggest to do in this way.

Hi there, I would not suggest removing the LED as it is an indication the Extension lead has power. Maybe a bit of insulation tape over it might help a little or choose a different Extension lead without an indicator Lamp.

It's high quality and very sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend mounting directly behind a wall-mounted TV (unless in a recessed space) because it sticks out quite far from the wall. I mount mine near the floor or in hidden alcoves and enclose the cables in trunking.

Q: What diameter is the power cable please?

Hi Dan. This might confuse you. The circumference of the flex is 1 inch. As I have my tape measure round my neck I thought I would use it. Now. The power cable is the same as an iron cable if you take the fabric covering off. Laying it on my measure it looks like 6mm. It's shiny black and very stiff. Worth buying in my opinion.
