Superior than anything I can get locally!
I am 100% convinced. Tried drilling into hardened steel that laughed at everything I could get locally. Ordered this from Amazon overnight, and WOW, what a difference. This is a low speed bit, recommended between 500-1000RPM. You're also going to need some sort of cutting oil and to remember carbide is brittle. You can feel it biting, and it will immediately let you know if you've changed your angle.

Cuts Like Butter
These are fantastic bits. I needed this to dill out a broken coil mount bolt in a Kawasaki 23 H.P. motor.Cut like butter.

Perfect for hardened steel
Drilled through a 1903 Springfield receiver like it was butter. I would highly recommend this product.

Snapped first use (straight on, no hammer)
Broke on low speed no impact on literal first use. I’m talking first pilot hole being drilled with this thing straight on it snapped. Never in my life had this happen. Maybe just a bad bit given all the other positive reviews?

Great
This worked great at drilling out a broke off easy out in an aluminum Chevy head.

Very Strong
Very hard bit. I used this bit to drill out a bolt that had a broke drill bit in it. This bit was able to drill it out with no issues.

Right through hardened steel.
I used this bit in addition to a 1/8" pilot hole. Drilling with a typical dewalt 20 volt impact drill, I'm able to make it through the hardened steel on my rear bumper like nothing. They're pricey, but the only way to drill right. For best results, I've found that you must drill 300-500 rpm (1/4 ways in on the trigger roughly) and with a little oil of some kind, so you dont burn the bit down. This was all with me babying the bit, by the way.

DO THE HAPPY DANCE!!!
Quick ship and it Worked!!! So years ago I broke off one of the top differential cover bolts on my car and didn’t bother with it since any leak was minimal and it was again at the top. Finally restoring the Fbody and wanted to get the bolt out. Ordered 3/32 and 5/64. Center punched the bolt as best I could and started drilling slowly with 5/64 and cutting oil (in my case gear oil). Was going slow and made a decent hole but wanted to make it bigger with 3/32. I went to drill with the 3/32 and forgot I put the drill in reverse. The 3/32 acted like a left hand bit and pulled the bolt right out. I thought I had more drilling to do but apparently not! Great bits to have. All praises be to TMH!!!
