I have not tried to paint it. I don't think it would hold paint well because it's flexible and there will be expansion and contraction.

It will stick to everything and anything for the most part. The warmer it gets, the more adhesion.

Can this be used to seal the corners of a travel trailer?

Yes, it’s tricky to use. Do not let it fold onto itself, it will not come apart. My trailer leaks were around the roof/sidewall connection which has old cauck on it. It was just barely 55 degrees, the surfaces were dry and clean but not totally flat. I didn’t have great results, I’ll use a bucket of the spreadable stuff next time. Clean, flat, dry and warm and it’s worth a try
