During a move a friend asked me if I wanted her never used fire table. I jumped on it and it has sat on my patio all through covid. While sitting around the fire last week I decided that it would be nice to be able to grill while staring at the flames. I tried my folding camp grill, which worked okay, but after measuring the table I realized I could put a weber grill over the top of the whole fire. Brain blown. This one is perfect because I can grill or fry on one side while feeding the fire on the other. I got it this morning and fired up the table right away. I finished my taxes around a nice fire while grilling some pork chops. It's the only way to do taxes.I did burn off the grates and then reasoned the grates with some veggie oil a couple times. I had them over a wood fire for about 1/2 hour before I put the pork chops on the grates. I haven't used the griddle part yet but it heated up pretty well. It stood up to wood fire flames burning for over 2 hours. Chops flipped off easy. This is just what I wanted. I'm seeing many more meals being cooked over a wood fire. So I have no idea how it would work on a weber grill, but on a fire table with a 21.5 inch diameter fire bowl it works perfectly.

I have a portable firepit and have tried 5 different styles of grill grates to place on top to cook food in a pan or some non-drip items directly on the grill. Didn’t want to mess with a separate piece of equipment to hold a grill above it. All the other ones slid around on the pit every time u stirred food in the pan. I like that these grill inserts can be carried separately, & that the weight of the grill once on the pit seems to keep it in place. Wish it came in a smaller size & that the round part could collapse in half but I’ll make this work.

This product would have been one of the neatest things ever for my Louisiana Grills Kamado Charcoal Grill that I got at Costco. But, it is frustrating that all of these 4-quarters or 2-half attachments that are 22"+ -- just don't work on the Kamado Grill that I got from Costco. When I set this one onto my grill, I was hoping that it would fit down inside of the lower part of the base. Yet, it will not set down in there, so I would have to use it on top of the lower-top seal -- which there is no way that it would work. However, this 4-quarter thing with a circular base to support each pie-like piece, is so incredibly nice, well-made, and would be an exquisite attachment for my darn LG Kamado, but it just won't work. So, I am almost crying and in tears that I have to send it back.Honestly, what I wrote is the TOTAL TRUTH. Hurts that I can't start frying & grilling tomorrow on it, because I sure was hoping that it would work with my weird-sized Kamado. But, nope. So if you got a Kamado grill at Costco, trust me -- this is too big. It's got to be something like 18"+ (or so) to work -- not any of the 22+ or 24+, they just won't work.

If you never move the grate(s) it’s great. When you do try to move, they never seem to go into the framework.They are nice and heavy.

Packaging was demolished in transit. One grill grate didn’t even make it to me. Received 3/4. It seems like it’s well made and I’d like a replacement grate so I can actually use it.Can’t find an option to contact the seller to get a replacement grate.

Had grate for a 2 years and was disappointed when it fell on the grass. It split in 2. Was very disappointed since i thought it would be sturdy and metal. Word of caution be careful it doesn't fall to expect disappointment. Will try to make contact with retailer for any suggestions but no hope but will try.Update 02-25-24, made contact with seller. Good respond and customer service and overall will work or buy more stuff if needed to good customer service. Thanks and would recommend seller to family and friends.

Requires a lot of cleaning!! Seemed like a good idea. However, everything gets caught between each of the four removable sections and the main frame. You can’t just brush it off and be ready for the next time you use it. You have to remove each section to clean it every time. Yes, you have to clean your grill anyway. But, in my opinion, this is excessive.
