If you’re a fan of Taylor Swift then you’ll enjoy this book. Songs are easy to play. But not always in the right key.

Songwriting Masterclass (Not just For Swifties) Part Two
Taylor Swift is the complete package. She works with a small number of chord progressions here expanding the tonal variations through, primarily, piano, using melodic bass and also unusual percussive rhythm patterns - largely courtesy of her collaboration with The National. Added to her delightful lyrical skill, this album extends the storytelling of ‘Folklore’ with a well deserved sequel. Mature songwriting and superb musicianship keep these songs fresh on endless repeat - the chance here to pick out the rhythms and melodies on guitar and piano is a welcome and very accessible pleasure. An insight into the songwriting process. Highlights for me are title track Evermore (with Justin Vernon), and Coney Island (with The National). The songbook sets out clearly and easily the score. Tricky for beginners looking for Swift secrets, but will reward through stretching those keyboard and fretboard skills.

Thinking all day about random ppl while not looking for clues in the lyrics. This one stung right in the heart. Who would understand the inner workings of a she-beast in the entertainment industry, towering over her competitors and, like a lioness, ripping her enemies to shreds. No Body, No Crime is the worst song and Gold Rush is the most crusty. I stopped and thought about her hair for a second. Maybe she'd like to go horse back riding, I thought to myself.
