this book is a reference of clinical definition. Good for search further characteristic of categories from body chemistry.

Got a good deal on this one. Campus book store was charging way more than what I paid here for this. Great buy!

The glossary leaves a bit to be desired and has to be accessed online. There is no way to access the answers to the end of chapter questions unless your professor gives them to you. This book only contains chapters and index all the other useful reference tables etc. have to be accessed online.

Very straight forward and easy to understand. Great book for general knowledge on the subject with good precision. I will definitely recommend this book.

I ordered this textbook for my grad school biochem class, and I made sure to order New. The book I received, pictured above, is NOT New. It's been highlighted on multiple pages and the spine is minorly scuffed. My invoice for the book even says "New," not "Like New." The book itself is in good condition and I will be keeping it as I need it for my classes, but I am frustrated and disappointed that the product did not arrive as advertised.

if i could give a ZERO star i would ... want to know what would classified as a horrible teacher read this book. those who can not do, teach, those who can not teach write text books. this book has absolutely no glossary so to find a word, go to the index look up the word find the page then hunt on that page for the word and hope that definition is what you need. those pointless end of the chapter questions, yeah good luck checking to see if you got it correct ... the access code on the front cover you get when you buy this book and sign up on the web site even there they doesn't give you the answers ... unless you are a teacher ... absolutely no way possible to check to see if you are answering the questions correctly. How and why do these authors think not telling the students what the answers are is a good way to teach people ... makes me wonder why schools use this texts unless it is a simple way for bad lazy teachers to never have to write their own tests, or whether the authors only care about the money they get paid for writing bad texts books.**** adding .... they OBVIOUSLY did not proof read this ... charts with info do not match, end of geriatric chapter questions don't match geriatric, are pediatric questions... BTW for those who have to buy this book 95 -100% of the end of chapter answers are "A".
