Much better filtering than my old one
Traveled to Uruguay and enjoyed drinking mate there, so I purchased the necessary accessories. The straw was allowing too much of the particles through so I needed something a little better. This is much nicer. It is easier to clean and filters out larger particles very well.

Not what I expected FOR Yerba Mate
The quality is good. The straw isn’t large enough, it’s to short for standard size cups. I works for anything else except for Yerba Mate, in other words, it’s just a straw. Yerba maté straws are usually very smooth when it comes too how much water goes through the straw.
