Very Great Product - Even for Laundry Soap & Softener!
First off I want to say how much I really like this set. Secondly, I should state that I am not using them for oil or vinegar. I actually had a different use for these altogether - laundry detergent & liquid fabric softener.BACKGROUND STORY:You see I recently purchased a beautiful used (3-year-old) front loader washer and dryer at a too-good-to-be-true-price (they were relocating to another state for transfer at work). Not even a week later, I had a ton of water and soap suds all over my floor underneath the washer. Upon researching what on earth happened, I read an article written by a person that repairs these types of washers that regardless what the manual says to only use up to a tablespoon of HE soap for soft water and up to 2 tablespoons for hard water. This can be alarming for someone, like myself, who always had the theory that the more soap that is in the washer, the cleaner the clothes would be. However this article states that my theory is actually false. It also goes onto say how soap residue from too much soap can actually lessen the life of your clothing. It was truly filled with a ton of useful information. I later called a repair company and they validated this information. They said all of the excess soap from the 1-2 tablespoons described in the article actual can clog up the hoses and damage the washer. I informed the company that I thought that was the case as the lady I purchased these off of looked like she used way more than a tablespoon of soap because I could see a ton of soap suds when I did a tub clean cycle the very first time I used it. The company recommended that I just purchase a liquid cleaner that I put into my dispenser so that it ran through all of the hoses to see if that would resolve the problem, and it did. Thank you God!BACK TO THE REVIEW:I needed something that I could keep smaller portions of soap in (as I get the largest container of soap for cost effectiveness). I also needed something that would measure out in tablespoon and teaspoon measurements (as softener shouldn't have more than 2 teaspoons in a front load washing machine for soft water. I also needed something that wouldn't make a mess - which is why I picked this set. I was pouring laundry soap from a huge container into a tablespoon and the tablespoon would leave a pool of soap underneath it when I was storing it in the cabinet. This takes care of all of my laundry soap and softener problems!Things to know about this set before you buy it:1. I know laundry soap is thicker than oil. Therefore, I diluted my laundry soap with half water. Unfortunately, this only goes up to 1 tablespoon (or 3 teaspoons) of liquid so I have to refill the top up twice. It actually isn't a big deal though - it's sort of fun anyway.2. I have gone through an entire bottle's worth of liquid and I only had one drop spill out the entire time I have used this. That was probably my fault. I am very happy with the cleanliness the bottles stay as well as the area where I store these.3. Other reviews say their's won't pump after awhile. I noticed right away with my larger one that the black rubber piece on the very top does have a little black rubber piece that you want to make sure is pushed down over the glass that liquid pours out of into the top of the container as you push the "button" to fill up the top container. If this isn't pushed down with your finger, needed suction is lost and it won't come up to the top of it. Also press in both of the gray circles at the same time (there is another circle on the opposite side of the container just like the one you see on the front) with your thumb and middle finger. It sounds complicated but it really isn't.4. Other reviews mention that as you pour out the liquid from the top, more liquid from the bottom spills out into the top - therefore, creating an inaccurate measurement. I did have this problem when the bottom container was filled up high enough that when I poured it out, liquid from the bottom would travel up the glass sprout. I alleviated this problem by not trying to get every last drop out of the top. I would just fill the top with a little more to make up the difference in the little bit left at the bottom. It would only leave about a third to a half of a teaspoon - so really nothing major. I was disappointed the top doesn't close down it stays at an angle as shown in the photograph of this product. However being somewhat of a germ-a-phobe, I still would feel comfortable in using what is left in the top of the container for food. In fact, I would definitely use this product for olive oil as I do use olive oil a lot for cooking on the stove with and could use something more than an oil mister for sauteing my onions and peppers with. I was only looking to "close" the top so it would fit in the pedestal drawer for my washer. As it is, I just set it on a slight angle and it fits pretty good that way.5. Other reviews mentioned it wasn't very good quality. I thought it was in excellent quality. The glass seems fairly thick. I did get the metal spout clogged once with my fabric softener (you wouldn't have this problem with oil or vinegar) and it came unclogged by just running hot water into the cap and through the spout it pours out of.Overall they could have had directions that would help with any troubleshooting problems for those that didn't seem to give this product half of a chance. Considering how these types of sets are designed (regardless of what company you choose) I thought they worked really well. For example: It isn't battery operated so you are using physics to make it work by way of suction. Therefore, I am not surprised if the bottom container is filled high enough that it would travel "up" the glass sprout as the sprout would then be angled downward.I happily refilled my containers for the first time today and look forward to using these for my washer for many years to come. When I purchase another set, I can use one for my olive oil and one for my bleach as you shouldn't use more than 2 teaspoons in a front load washing machine - I think the article said but I will have to go back and check :)

Awful product
I bought these in 2022 and had to return them to Amazon as they sent out a new set (oil and vinegar) I he ad them for a few months . I no longer use them the pump doesn’t work on the oil bottle and the screw on top to the vinegar doesn’t tighten. So I threw them out very bad design

It works. Not super easy to clean. Not very accurate.
So these look great, and they work well with oil (olive oil) or water-based (vinegar for eg.). You press and the substance goes into the built-in measuring cup. That said, to get the last TSP out of the measuring cup you have to tilt the bottle so much, that the oil starts to drip out of the main reservoir into the measuring cup as you pour. This makes the measurement not terribly accurate. Construction is a little plastic-y/flimsy feeling, but they haven't broken in the 2 months or so that I've had them (and this includes AirBnB guests). Refilling is easy. Ease of washing is ok, but they get immediately dirty with fingerprints and stuff from handling them while cooking. I bought them to stop my Mediterranean background impulse of dumping tons of olive oil on everything (because "there is no such thing as too much olive oil"... or so my grandfather would say), and for that purpose they have worked very well. It is a worthy purchase if you need to watch your fat intake and reduce the use of oil when cooking. Also, they are great for salads, if you dress them on the spot with olive oil and vinegar like I do.

Work Great
I am truly impressed with the quality, design and functionality of these bottle dispensers. I like that there are two different size bottles so I am able to use one for my olive oil and the other for my vinegar. I like that they are made of sturdy glass and are easy to clean. I love that these have the measurements right on them so I do not need to always pull out my measuring spoons. I really like how easy they are to use with the squeeze buttons on the side and the easy pour spout. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a well made bottle set as you will not be disappointed in these.

I really like this - easy to use and works well but measurements are off
I really love the fact I can measure out how much oil I'm using without a measuring spoon. You just hold your fingers over the holes and squeeze until the amount of oil you want is in the reservoir. Then pour. Its easy to use so I'm a bit confused as to why people are having such a hard time using it in other reviews. It looks solid over all and decently made. Yep, it might drip a tiny bit of oil after you're done using it. But less than using a bottle and it takes half a sec to wipe it off. Minor downside: the measurements on mine are off by x2. I fill it to 1/2 tbls but its actually 1 when I measured it out. No biggie. Still - a cool item and I'm really liking it. Recommended.

Doesn't work
The media could not be loaded. Doesn't work. No matter how many times you press, the button is the covered or not covered, it does not go up the straw

Ok, but not long-lasting.
I purchased this set in August ‘22. The bigger one stopped dispensing after 2 years. I have been using by the smaller one for around one year, and when I push down in the button it causes the oil to leak out from there. The straw does not reach the bottom, so you’re always left with oil. I initially liked the idea of by able to measure the oil, but the numbers fade away pretty quickly. Overall it served its purpose for almost three years, but I likely won’t be repurchasing.
