Q: My dog is small and would need half a capsule. Are these breakable? I’m not clear on how we could give half a capsule

The capsules are easily divided, by pouring half of the contents out and recapping the capsule. I highly recommend Essiac especially if cancer is the problem.

Q: What size capsules are these please?

They are almost 7/8 of an inch long, and appropriately wide. They are soft capsules with granules in them.

Q: will flor essence help dogs with mange ?

I don't know whether the Essiac pills will help control your dogs mange, but it probably wouldn't hurt to try it. I would suggest a topical to help control the mites. We have 3 dogs, our male has mouth cancer and was given a prognosis of maybe 2 months to live and, this was early last November. He's still with us and almost eating and behaving normally though, at times he does experience some mouth bleeding when chewing something like a milk bone (one side of his mouth is still normal). We give him an Essiac pill along with one low dose aspirin twice daily (hiding the pills in a slightly hollowed out piece of Slim Jim). To help control parasites (fleas and ticks) we use Vet's Best Flea and Tick Home Spray on their fur. You have to massage it in a little bit with your fingers. It's mostly Clove and Peppermint oil and doesn't bother them too much but, it seems to help control the itching caused by the pests. Hope this helps you!
