Can you test this by pushing the reset button? As in, will it break the circuit, and then you press it again to restore the circuit?

This one is a manual reset. Mine is an auto reset so there is no reset button. I do have one that is a different make and yes, pressing the button will cut the circuit and pressing again will connect the circuit.
