The price is admittedly a bit steep, I'll say it right now, but if the only thing wrong with your headphones is the leather coming away or perishing, this will make them good as new so I cannot fault them. They are cooler and more comfortable. The ear holes are very slightly smaller but not noticeably.There is a knack to fitting them. You should find two of the four clips go on easily but if you pull the leather outwards from the earpiece and then push down it will clip in nicely. The included tool makes it really easy to get the existing pieces off too.Overall a great product, if I could give it 4.5 stars I would because of the price but it's a perfect product otherwise.

I can't give this product a fair review so elected for 4 stars plus information for any other potential buyers. If you are look for replacement ear pads because the Pulse headset hurts your ears DON'T buy these.I have large ears not massive but large, Sony don't allow for large ears from my experience with any of there official wireless gaming headsets (tried them all). Their headset get very uncomfortable after a short time because the ear pads are not wide/thick enough to stop your ears from touching the hard plastic speaker grills. To be fair the item is not marketed as a larger ear pad, they do fit onto the headset well but you have to squeeze them pretty hard for them to clip on properly. I would imagine these would be slightly more comfortable than the one's preinstalled on the headset.

I have always enjoyed the plugin and play simplicity of the headsets that PlayStation have offered over the years.I have used the original pulse headset for PS3 as well as the golds on PS4. I enjoy the sound but I could never get over the discomfort of wearing them.After a few hours my ears would always get too warm and the pleather earcups were too shallow I found.I picked up a pair of the pulse 3d headphones at launch and found them to be uncomfortable after an hour or two of gameplay.I had looked at maybe selling them before coming across these. They are easy to apply once you remove the original earcups and are instantly more comfortable.The fabric on the portion of the earcups that touches your head is much softer than the base earcups and the cooling gel definitely works as well.If you're finding the base earcups on the pulse headphones uncomfortable then I would definitely recommend these. I'm very happy with the purchase!

If you use your Playstation headphones quite a lot you've probably noticed the regular ear pads become very worn out and tend to fall to pieces after awhile.These however are excellent I've had no issues with these, the cooling gel really helps keep you cool and prevents the breakdown of the material, I've had these for a few years now and they're still in perfect condition and really help to cancel out exterior noise.Very easy to get on, they fit really well around the ear, the quality is superb and you really argue the price they've lasted years so it's definitely worth the money.

They do fit and are comfortable but not clicking in place like I thought the would.

I was a little concerned about ordering at first as I read some reviews saying that these are not comfortable with no improvement over the original pulse 3D ear cups. However, I can tell you that as someone that got blisters from Sony’s original ear cups, these are a huge improvement. While they are still uncomfortable after a long period they sure won’t make your ears bleed like Sony’s original pulse cups.I would give these 5 out of 5 but unfortunately the price at £26 is ridiculous for a pair of ear pads. The Sony Pulse 3D headset itself sets you back £90 and the fact that this is almost 30% of the price of the whole headset is unbelievable. I would suggest you lower the price to be able to appeal to a larger audience as at a £26 price tag, I would seriously consider taking back the whole Pulse 3D headset if 3D audio was not that important.

Not only are these pads more comfortable than the original that the pulse headset came with their better quality and keep your ears cooler at least in my experience over long periods of gaming, easy uninstall, and reinstall of the pads with the tool that they provide you! Please make sure that you clip them in all the way in order to get the flush fuel to the headset

I love my Pulse 3D headset. After an early firmware update that corrected problems with the sound, they are fantastic quality at an appropriate price-point.My ONLY complaint with them is that after a longer gaming session, (as quick as even three hours) the headphones would get notably uncomfortable and I’d frequently begin taking short breaks with one or both ears out of the headset.These earcups do everything they claim to. My Pulse 3D headphones are no longer physically uncomfortable, and the earcups don’t make the side of my head sweaty and uncomfortable like they used to when I’d have short hair on the sides.Initial disassembly and install is easy enough once you figure out what you’re doing. Took me 10 minutes to ultimately get the job done.These are the quality of earcups that the headset SHOULD have shipped with. For their price, buy them. Don’t hesitate.
