Two months ago i had knee replacement surgery. I toughed it out during the recovery and made do without a raised toilet. Two weeks ago i had to have emergency spinal fusion surgery. This time there is no toughing it out. In fact I counted the days until this product arrived, as did my husband. Simply put, it means I now have independence in the bathroom, and he does not need to be part of that experience. We have a multilevel house. The product is easy to pick up and move, and we have been doing that for overnights. But i have decided to order a second one to convenience. It was very easy to assemble and when we don’t need it any longer it can be disassembled and stored in the tidy box in which it arrived.

I bought this toilet bench to use post hip replacement surgery. I’m 6’3” and weigh 330 pounds. So I needed something tall made of professional grade materials. When I had my knees replaced 2 years ago I used a toilet seat that attached to the toilet. It was cheap, too low to the ground and kept pulling apart from the toilet when I sat on it. I was afraid to use it.So I liked the idea of a taller freestanding high quality seat that I can move from upstairs toilet to downstairs. For the most part it has met my needs. It’s comfortable to sit on. I feel safe using the two handle bars to lower and raise myself. The only issue that I have is that for as wide as the metal frame is, the seat is very narrow such that it’s a bit unsettling when using it for #2 and it’s narrowness makes it harder to wipe myself. Also, if it were placed in something like a “toilet room”, the frame may be too wide to fit. Eventually I have found a way to contort myself to make it work, but it shouldn’t be that way.

Works exceptionally well. Using the bathroom was a nightmare after my double knee replacement. This is adjustable and comfortable. Long seat meant it fits perfectly. Really love it.

Not too crazy about this. There is no lid, the pic looks like it has a lid.

Easy assembly and a lot easier since she still has low ride toilets.
