Great Quality at a Fraction of OEM
I have to say I was dubious about replacing my air springs with pattern parts until I watch a You Tube video of a mechanic recommending these. He stated he had been using these springs for over 2 years and not had one fail yet. Very easy to fit, just watch the videos.

Easy to fit, quick delivery and fixed the car
Great, arrived next day delivery and fitted by my mechanic (f07 530d) at a cost of £120, suspension now working as it should and no issues so far (after a month). Seem to be good quality so will hopefully last a few years.

Looks and Feels Solid - OLIVE INSTALL Advice
I bought a pair of these although I only needed one, given the low price compared to OEM airsprings. Firstly - they look and feel solid in the hand so in that sense, they seem like good value. Other reviews have mentioned a missing olive, but as far as I'm aware this should be self contained within the airline input nut. This section is an update to my original review earlier and my confusion began with the ad instructions on this page specifically saying "Do Not Remove The Air Fitting From The Air Strut" I took this to mean the pre-installed nut as "damage could occur" it says. It doesn't specifically use the word nut, but that is what is implied. I was working on the assumption that the pre-installed nut on this new spring does not need interfering with and had all necessary components pre-installed also.In my case I had to cut back the airline behind the old olive and nut, as the old airspring had become mangled and that damaged the end of the airline. The main install issue I had was as follows. As it was my first time installing an airspring, I was expecting the airline to snap and lock into place once it is inserted into the nut - based on YouTube videos. This did not happen. The airline wouldn't seem to catch and was easy to pull back out. Eventually after numerous attempts at insertion, I could fell a slight suction if I pulled back slightly and went with that - but have to admit that I didn't feel confident or assurance in the connection - even though it seemed to be working.UPDATE - after examining the 2nd spare airpring later in the house, I decided to undo its nut and look inside. Lo and behold there was the olive and of course this needs to be removed and placed on the airline as part of the install. So - I have to remove the airspring and reinstall it yet again, but this time correctly by removing the nut to access the olive and slide it on the airline. As it was my first time doing this job, the page's instructions not to remove the air fitting really caused confusion. I hope this helps someone out there. One other install tip. I had trouble pushing the bottom clip of the spring into the hole on the car's frame as I felt I didn't have the strength to do this. It was tough. So - I used a pry bar on one side levered against the frame and pushed down with my hand on the other side and it went in quite easily and quickly.

530d touring, rear suspension sagging both sides.
Rear air bags kept going down but not all the time. I changed the solenoids and the relay but they didn't work. So i thought I would try these, so far so good, they've only been on the car a week but I've not heard the pump come on since installing these. How long they'll last, who knows? Can they take the same weight in the boot as oem, don't know that either, but for the price I'm willing to try these 1st just to make sure it was the bags that had the fault, I fitted these my self and it takes about an hr each side. I took the 40amp pump fuse out 1st and lifted the car up before disconnecting the 2 pipes on the air valve. Removed the wheels, twisted and pulled down on the bags and they came out, 10mm spanner on the air connector on top of the bag and it was disconnected. Remove and fit the new ones. Plenty of vids online.

Airbags fitted but slightly frustrating fitting them.
I fitted these airbags this afternoon and they seem good quality and should stand the test of time. However, the small brass olives were terrible quality and actually ended up snapping which left me in a state of panick. Also so did one of the brass threaded fitments but I may have overtightened it. But I was able to re-use the original ones that were fitted to the airbags I was removing. These seemed to be much better quality and no doubt OEM ones.So my review can only be accountable for the one day's experience I've had, but once they were fitted they inflated without issue and have held pressure and felt good on the test drive. So only time will tell I suppose, but I'm confident they should be ok for a good while.
