Works well to keep threads from fraying
Works well on fraying ends of yarn. I also cut a dog color short and the ends were fraying so I added a dab to keep it from fraying. Works well and dries clear. Easy to wash off your fingers and hands.

Fray Stop
This item works well and is very easy to use. It does a good job in preventing raw edges of fabric from fraying. The only thing I don't like is after the fabric edges dry, it's rather stiff.

Used for Aida cloth
Used for my cross stitch Aida cloth. Goes on white, but dries clear, and you can’t even tell it’s there, which is what I was looking for. (See pic.) It’s thick, so I used a small paint brush, and went around the edges, and it worked great. It did take a bit to dry, but seems to be holding well.

Doesn’t always dry clear
You MUST check this on your fabric, it doesn’t always dry clear or smooth. It is more of a glue than just a thin adhesive to stop fraying on delicate fabrics. It is NOT suitable for delicate fabrics (sheers, chiffon, silks, tulle, etc). The texture is similar to white glue and has the same texture and properties, but once it’s on something, it will NEVER come off. So definitely durable! It’s a great product, you just have to be sure that you are using it on the right fabric and understand how it will look and perform.ALWAYS check your fabric before committing to sticking it on a final project.

Use to keep running shoes from fraying
For the last few years my Brooks running shoes have not been using a protective piece of fabric, plastic or vinyl over the toes as they had done in previous years. The mesh starts to fray pretty quickly at the side of the left big toe, because my right toe hits it every now and then. I put this anti-fray adhesive over that area to keep the mesh from getting worn down on that one spot. It works GREAT and helps prolong the use of my shoes. A little bit goes a long way. You can see it if you really look for it, but it dries clear with a bit of a sheen to it.
