A good lens for capturing those distance pictures. Lens needs to be stabilised with a tripod and is manual focus but picture quality is very good if you take the time to stabilise and focus the lens

There was a small issue with the item on receipt, but the quality of aftersales service in dealing with it was faultless. All sorted now. Kit itself, extremely powerful robust bit of kit. Very nice manual lens - you will need a tripod though no matter how steady you think your hand is

Note: these photos have been edited, but its a good example of the type of quality you can expect from this lens.- Great quality (metal & not flimsy)- Great value for money- Very good image qualitywhen you first get the lens it can be a little complicated but it only took me about 20 mins to understand how it works, and it does take some getting used to when photographing fast moving subjects such as planes as there isn't auto focus, but after a while you do get used to using the manual focus.If you have a lower budget and need a telephoto lens, this is the PERFECT choice.

Very well made and easy to use. Manual focus only as stated. Considering the cost, the image isn't bad and reasonable photographs can be produced, ideal for experimentation when starting out and supplied with a pouch for transport.All in all, this lens kit is good value for the price.I decided that the picture quality was not for me and easily returned the item for a full refund. If you're looking for a lens that's worth the money especially if you're a beginner like myself I'd say it's a start.The delivery was fantastic box was sturdy keeping the lens protected fully.It took a little bit to practice and get used to after a play with the settings I did eventually get some nicer photos after realising with the overcast sky the lens hood was blocking out the lightIt's a manual focus which personally I find better than AF as its easier to use.Saying that with the lense having no image stability so it does shake I would recommend using this with a tripod and using a camera timer setting photos will come out alot clearer for sure.

You get what you pay for. Yes its nice and cheap but the image quality is rubbish. I have had a DSLR for a while now and am used to using manual settings.The lens is sturdy and its easy to connect to the camera but I just couldn't get a decent quality photo even with a tripod and a shutter remote. The zoom is great however, the image quality is very grainy even at the shortest focal length. My advice is save your money and invest in a professional quality lens.
