Wonderful field of view and great eye relief. I use this eyepiece as my go to lens for most of my Lunt 40mm solar telescope viewing episodes and am pleased that I can easily see fine details of the sun’s prominences and surface filaments.

This eyepiece is a permanent installation in my “telescope tools” as it time and time again proves itself to be a high quality product. I’m able to get tack sharp stars to the edges and beautiful views of the planets with it in my dob.

Love these Products! I have this and also the 18mm Ultima Edge. My favorite eyepieces at this time. Very nice and clear views even in a moderate light polished area. I will definitely recommend this product to any amateur or even beginner astronomer. Worth every penny!

I'm pleased with the field of view and sharpness of this eyepiece. It is solidly built with good eye relief. I like the feel of the knurled focus ring. Well worth the modest price.

Package had obviously been opened. Quality seal was damage and box taped together. After opening, noticed the caps were stuffed inside the box, and the item has marks on it that appear to have come from someone using the item. Returned immediately.

Image quality is poor. Could not see the belts of the Jupiter (even after using a proper neutral density filter). Not as good as the 25mm default eyepiece coming with the telescope.

This is a good eyepiece using for planetary mated to a Baader HC filter it really draws out a lot of detail in high magnification. The flat field configuration allows you to use entire field of view even through a tight f10 8 inch sct. The Ultima gives a decent amount of light transference and will not suffer when used with artificial light suppression filters
