Q: Will they stick to leather ? I would like to use them to open/close a wallet

You may get them to stick initially, but when you pull apart they will come off. They're not very sticky.

Q: Would these attach to fabric? I want to hang a blackout fabric at a window and take it down each day. Would this work?

You might like to consider larger surface area versions - e.g. rectangles. I have not used these on fabrics, but found the adhesive to be strong on plastics. With a fabric though, you could use staples or equivalent to supplement adhesion. In my experience, using a larger surface area made a positive difference.
