I love this paint! I purchased another brand first, but these paints have both a translucence and depth of tone that make them just lovely. I painted this totem/bird bath using the Pebeo paints on the inside of old vases, then used the Pebeo outline paint on the outside of the vases to make the gold designs.

I have used glass paints in the past, but none were ever permanent. I like the Pebeo Vitrea 160 Glass Paint set with the Moshify brushes because this is a good variety of colors to start. I'm currently working on a project with them. I'm painting a clear glass mug. The Moshify brushes are nice, even and have a secure ferrule. They should last a very long time with good maintenance. To use as paint, it's just like any other paint where it can be layered and the colors blend well. The difference is that this is a heat-set paint. The paint is set once your painting is complete using your home oven. I ordered a few additional Vitrea 160 products to go with the set, another color, the thinner and a tube of Ink Black outliner. All of the different Vitrea 160 products work well together.This is an introduction pack, the Vitrea 160 line features 27 different colors. The paint works on different surfaces, like metal. I've not tried this yet, but it's worth mentioning it has a variety of applications. As long as a painted surface can withstand 160 degrees Celsius in your home oven, it likely can be painted with the paint. There are detailed instructions on the large video based site outside Amazon with numerous demonstrations and the official website has more detailed information and a request feature for safety data sheets available for all their products. Pebeo Vitrea 160 is a high-quality paint and is suitable for use by upper-level students, professionals as well as hobbyists. I do not recommend it for use by young children, especially unsupervised. Make sure you check the colors in your box. Instead of getting White I got a Teal color and it's 150 so I can't even use it on my stained glass projects. Easy to use otherwise. If you make a mistake just wipe it off with a damp towel and start over.
