I've used velvet huggable hangers for years as I love the slim design and the fact that my clothes stay on the hanger better. I needed some new hangers to hang sweaters and cardigans on my over-the-door rack as the hooks were too rough on my clothes. These hangers are definitely slim and lightweight and they work as they need to. But they are a little flimsy. I mean, while hanging a pretty lightweight cardigan on it, I can feel the hanger twisting a bit. Not to the point that it's breaking, but it isn't as sturdy as I'd like it to be. The listing says it can hold up to 10 pounds, but I wouldn't dare. They're working for what I got them for, but I am not sure that I'd buy them again, especially to hang heavier clothes.

I love these hangers! I have been systematically buying them and switching them out with my wire and plastic hangers. While I only buy black, I love the array of colors available. They are slim, don't take up much space and hold items on the hanger without worrying they will fall off. I also love the uniform look of my closet which helps the closet appear tidy.
