These crepe tools are carefully handcrafted and made in China using high quality Beechwood. It is also printed on the product packaging. Thank you!

Q: Is the wood lacquered or natural - no stains, lacquer or varnish?

Unlike other tools out there, we like our crepe tools to be safe and healthy and that's why we chose to have no varnish or lacquer on them. It's all natural Beechwood lightly seasoned with food-grade mineral oil for a smoother finish and easy cleanup after use. To keep your Indigo True Crepe Tools healthy, we recommend to apply food safe mineral oil regularly. Reapply as needed or whenever the wood feels dry.
