The Adventures of Captain Lantus

Our 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 at age 3. She smiled the entire time she read this book. She said it is funny and makes her feel powerful. She hopes to read it for her class. Well written and fantastic illustrations.

I was very kindly send a copy for my son who had been diagnosed type 1 aged just 22 months. Great book and colourfully pictures. I also purchased a copy to gift to my sons nursery to raise awareness.

My daughter loves this book. I bought the second book for Christmas for her and she loves that one too.It makes her happy knowing that there are other children out there with type 1 diabetes too.
