worked fine on a 'ding"
I had a small "ding", not a scratch. I tapped off the "ding" with painters tape and applied three coats over two days, then the top coat. I practiced on paper placed vertically to get a feel for how the different applications worked, how much paint would be delivered and if it would run; then watched a couple YouTube videos. It took three coats to get it dark enough. Not sure I would use this on a scratch, you want it on a recessed surface otherwise its too light.

Shake it up.
Color is good and close to factory paint. Yes, shake it up. one end is paint and the other is clear coat. It has an abrasive eraser on the tip to remove rust. Great.Clean with alcohol wipe; they say wait half hour and apply. I used the brush, let dry a bit and put on some more. Have not put on clear yet.

Decent Touch-Up Paint, but Color Match Falls Short
I recently purchased the Honda Genuine 08703-NH830MAH-A1 Touch-Up Paint Pen to address a few minor scratches on my vehicle. While the application process was straightforward and the pen design convenient, I was somewhat disappointed with the color match. The product claims to match the Honda NH830M paint code, but unfortunately, the result didn't quite live up to my expectations. The shade was a bit off, making the touched-up areas noticeably different from the surrounding paint. It's not a glaring mismatch, but for those aiming for a seamless finish, it might be a concern. On the positive side, the pen's ease of use and precision made the application manageable, and the .44 fl oz size is adequate for small touch-ups. If you're not overly particular about an exact color match, this product might still serve its purpose. However, if color accuracy is crucial for you, it might be worth exploring alternative options or seeking professional assistance.

Noticeably Lighter
I matched this genuine Honda touch-up paint using the color code inside the door of my Lunar Silver Metallic 2020 Honda CR-V. Based on other reviews I shook the paint vigorously for a full 2 minutes and followed the label directions. The results speak for themselves, the repair is very noticeable and I wish I'd wiped it off immediately.

Paint won’t match sun exposed paint.
Very quality product. Biggest issue is the value of the paint is too high. It would match perfectly rly is your car is new but if your paint has had sun exposure the tint will not match. They need to make this paint in a lower value(brightness) to match cars that are not brand new. Who buys touch up paint for a brand new car??? Hopefully you don’t have to and if you are here for that then I bet it will match perfectly if you car is less than 1-2 months old.
