Worth the change
The new design is nicer and more comfortable then the one that comes with the hood. It is less constricting and doesn’t bind if at all. Will buy again for sure.

Fits older SpeedGlas helmets
I was looking for a replacement headband for my old SpeedGlas XL helmet. This was an exact match and was easy to replace. The screws that attach the band to the helmet and allow it to pivot are plastic however, so I would HIGHLY recommend also purchasing metal ones to replace them. If you don't, you can anticipate the plastic ones stripping out after a while.

Cheap Plastic
It will work, but that's about all the good I can say about it. This fit my helmet, but required a little modification to both the headband and the helmet. The tighteners that fasten the headband to the helmet are cheap plastic and don't tighten enough to hold the helmet up. Luckily, I had steel screws from an old headband that I swapped out.
