ACDelco GM Original Equipment R45TS Conventional Spark Plug

These seem to be the right plugs for my 1970’s Chevy engine. Plugs came in with no issues and cheaper than the chain stores.

Spark plug. Good fit

These sparks plugs are a great value at only 20% or less of local auto parts stores prices.I purchased 8 plugs and half of them (4) had been mishandled so that the ground electrode was bent and touching the center electrode. The boxes did not show any unusual damage and they were packaged such that this type of damage probably would not occur. However it happened it must have been very rough handling to cause the electrode to come in contact with center. I accidentally dropped an undamaged one while checking the gap. It fell a little more than one foot onto a solid metal shelf directly onto the electrode and the gap remained unchanged. This indicates very bad mishandling somewhere between manufacturer and being placed into boxes.

The right spark plug for my needs

I ordered 7 spark plugs which are very fragile like eggs. When I opened the package, there was no stuffing in there to protect the spark plugs from damage. I was really surprised when I inspected and gapped the spark plugs that none of them were cracked. I installed them all and they all worked great. I gave you a 5 star because they all worked and I just got lucky this time.
