Seemed great at first but started leaving toilet running resulting in purchase in new one due to water bill increase.

The media could not be loaded. Gotta love any product that takes less than 5 bucks and 5 minutes of your time. My old Korky Ultra Universal flapper has served us well for 7 years, but it's time was done. Have a 15 year old American Standars 2-piece toilet. Started hearing a sound like drops of water from the toilet and knew the flapper was no longer sealing. Inspected the flapper and it looked like mush on the sides. The fill valve was still working, so I just got a flapper. Looked in our other toilet, which is 10 years old and has never needed servicing to see what type of flapper it had. Well, it was this black Korky 54BP. Searched Amazon and for less than five bucks this seemed like a smart buy.Got it in two days. The flapper itself installed in less than 1 minute. Took more time to flush the toilet to rid the water and then let it refill. The installation is simple: Turn off the water at the inlet, flush the toilet, when the tank is empty take off your old flapper (it literally should just hook on the sides.) Hook on the new flapper. Attach the chain to the handle. Turn on the water and let the tank fill. Done.My toilet even flushes with a touch more oommppphhh than it used to. For the price and the easy install, I'm thrilled. The 2" size should fit 90% of modern toilets, no worries. Even if it just lasts a year (the length of the warranty) then I feel like I got my money's worth.Sorry for my shaky video, I had to hold the phone with one hand and do the install with one hand. 🤚Thus, it looks harder than it is.😀🚽Hope you found this review helpful!

It literally took me less than 3 mins to get this together. I’m as far from a handy man as a person could be. I couldn’t bend down enough even to turn off the water. However I was able to take off my old eaten up stopper while holding the arm with the toilet bobber up so water didn’t fill the tank. And I was able to replace my new stopper and take off the old one. I had to loop the ring through my toilet handle and fasten it about 3/4 down the chain that comes with the stopper. Just like that no running toilet. I was expecting more of a challenge, but to my delight it truly was the most simple thing I’ve ever done as for home repairs. Hopefully your outcome is as simple as my own. And hopefully this holds the water as it is without leaking right now. If it starts to fail. I’ll without a doubt add to this review since it’s the first day of installation. Less than a $4 repair that a plumber would charge $100+ to do. That takes less than 5 minutes. I read reviews stating simple installation, but didn’t fully believe it until I witnessed it for myself. I highly recommend this product. I didn’t measure anything out and took the chance. However I looked at the old stopper and figured by the photos it was near the same size. I lucked out there and am a happy customer.

My water dept sent a letter stating they noticed our water had a steady daily increase and they advised we may want to look for a possible leak in our pipes. Well I found it was due to a very slight and almost unnoticeable leak in our toilet. Confirmed it was the flapper and purchased this Korky brand. Did the job and the cost out of our pocket for the loss in a year would be appx. $275. It truly makes a difference.

What is there to say? Either it works or not. Depends greatly on your situation. I found these work, but the age fast, I ended up replacing them after several months because of two issues, one, the chain rusts badly, two, the flapper hardens and starts to leak, not making a proper seal.
