YaeCCC Craft Jute Webbing Tape, 3.5" x 10 Yd Rolls 11 lbs

My sofa deck was beginning to get pretty saggy. I watched few upholstery how to videos and just went for it.My sofa deck is 68"x25". Being safe rather than sorry, I ordered 3 rolls. Good thing I did. Not much left of the 3rd roll. (see photo) I probably used more product than necessary. Call it overkill, but I wanted the base to be nice and sturdy. (see photo)Be sure you're wearing a mask, protective clothing, glasses, and gloves.Not long after starting my project, my eyes, hands and bare forarms were very itchy. Then I started sneezing and coughing. I noticed all the fibers on my dark flooring. Bingo! Working with, and cutting this webbing sends jute fibers into the air. I don't know if this is normal. This is the 1st time ever using jute webbing.I'm SO glad I did this! It's as good as new. Actually better! THIS deck will last forever!

The old strapping was broke on my dining chairs when I bought them. I crammed fresh high density foam in a stapled straps on the bottom. This is definitely not the "proper" way to fix it, but these are strong and hold up very well. I rolled the loose end and used players to hold it tight while stapling. Great product!

First time using this to redo my dining chairs and I cannot complain. My chairs had an alastic band that had stretched out and was making the chair backs swoop in. Problem solved!

Before putting together the bagel boards I soaked the strips in water overnight. The jute worked perfectly and kept the bagel toppings from burning. I noted no odor (other than jute, which did not transfer to the bagels), and I noted no transfer of red dye to the plain bagels either.

I'm new to furniture repair and find this product is sturdy and very easy to work with. I will continue to buy it as I repair and restore furniture
