Glove looks and feels great to my kid! He loves it. It has some padding at the heel, it could have been a touch more, but overall nice profile. It has an adjustable strap along the back of hand to further tighten if needed, but I noticed the attached Velcro doesn't run the length of the strap, so if you really what the tightness at it's maximum you'll run out of Velcro needed to lock in that tight fit... So there's some limit to customizing the fit. No deal breakers though; for the price it is a great buy and will last. A nice glove for youths learning for the first time.

Exactly what I wanted, color and style. I didn't need an expensive glove. I needed a second glove to make it easier to talk people into a little catch. This glove is perfectly fine for general yard catch or a recreational game with friends. I've had my other glove almost 25 years and it is in great shape but the inner lining is flaking/desintergrating very badly. I just wanted this and am very pleased. I was able to open and close it fairly easy right away.It is indeed easy to use immediately. No break in time...no oiling. It has a decent feel to it. If I had touched it before buying I really might have thought it is leather. The material is much better than I expected. I assume if a person is against leather this would be CLOSE to a vegan product as possible. I'm pretty sure it is all a type of pleather. I've never had a non leather glove and was interested.I just liked how it looked and it suits my needs and was inexpensive. I could have gotten a "better quality" USED glove but I would rather have new and decent than something sweaty, dry rotted and or stinky. No need for that when this is perfectly good. Even great.This glove has NO odor at all that I can tell. You won't get the leather glove smell of course...but there is no strange odor either.Comfortable, functional, great looking and super affordable. I recommend it to anyone playing recreationally. I chose the softball size glove because I didn't have a dedicated 14" softball glove. I plan to just use this with friends and family or chunking a rubber ball off the side of the garage.Very pleased, worth the money

I am & have been an avid softball player for years. This glove is without a doubt THE best glove I have ever had. Thw workma.ship is flawless, the appearance terrific and it is already broken in. I urge anyone looking to improve theor game or just to throw and catch tp purchase this glove. As if tge fabulous quality isn't enough, this fantastic glove is NOT made from rawhide. It is imitation rawhide. No animal had tp suffer and die for entertainment or sportsmanship. A fact that is critical for me, a vegan with a conscience who loves all animals. Buy this glove.
