Great lights!
This was one of the first landscape lighting projects I’ve done. I work in construction on home remodels so I often will get different ideas off other homes. My goal was to illuminate with flood/high volume light that was not spot focused.I also wanted to be able to put them in the yard and be able to mow over them, rather than weed wack around some pole or well. They also had to hold up to our torrential Florida rains.Everything I saw on homes was these brass or aluminum type ground wells that looked great. But then I came here to do some research and found them to be quite expensive. By the time you buy some bulbs for the empty wells, I’d only get a couple lights for $100+. Maybe only 1 light if I bought the pricier options. So to get 6 for about the same price seemed great. And I like the idea of having an integrated LED rather than separate components. Everything we install for interior lights has changed to slim integrated LEDs, so why not go for the same outdoors.I ran two directional strands of 12 gauge wire from 1 transformer. Low voltage lights need a transformer, and having a dusk photocell makes it convenient to control. I added 6 lights on each strand. So far so good. It has been over a month and rained almost every day with no issues. As I write this, a hurricane is grazing us and dumping a foot of rain. The lights make it pretty to peek outside and watch the wind blow in the trees. They are a soft/warm color. That’s what I wanted but if you’re looking for a whiter white, this is not it. Just the right amount of lumens. Not blinding at all but also not weak on amount of illumination. Two 6 packs of these lights ($250 or so), a 250ft spool of 12 ga wire ($90) and transformer ($70) will add every bit of that to the home value and my enjoyment in the meantime. The only thing I would change on these lights is the two wire nuts that come with. They can be small for larger gauge wire. They work fine for the last lights in a run but where you have to double up connections, I would snag a pack of the larger waterproof ones from the store for $10. You should be ok with a smaller gauge wireI’ll be buying more

Compact design but great light
I bought the 6 pack of these lights and love them for the great light and compact design. Went shopping here when couldn’t get a replacement for what was installed previously. Cost per light is wonderful compared to the $43 I was spending before but also a little lighter built and shorter attachment wire. Have been very pleased with the two I put in but unsure of stability if in a wet climate rather than Arizona.

Good Quality Great Value
These lights are sturdy metal housings and nice warm light.I have them all over the property which now has a nice glow and I am able to see without glaring overhead lighting.Adds a degree of safety as well. The first batch I ordered over a year ago functions 12 hours avg each night and has not dimmed or burned out yet.

Durable and looks great
I installed these a couple of years ago in the unforgiving rainy, hot, and humid south Florida weather and the only issue I've had is with the buried wiring outside of the actual light housing that clip into the main landscaping wires. The lights themselves are made of solid materials and I like that the top has a grill which gives it a nice look and protects it from falling branches, etc. The glass is also quality and thus far has not cracked or become opaque. If you want a durable landscaping light that illuminate the trees or foliage above them, I recommend it.

False marketing/advertising
I purchased 18 of these in ground lights because they were described as anti glare. It took a while before we got some of them installed as our renovations took longer than expected. Once we installed them and turned them on, the light was painful to the eyes. The only way it will not cause a glare is if it was facing away which really defeats the purpose of installing these lights. This is design problem, the grated top is more vertically wider than it is horizontally wider allowing a lof of light to get through. I contacted the vendor TORCHSTAR and they suggested to put blocking stickers! WHAT??? You advertised it as anti glare -- which it is not! False advertising to the fullest!

Great Value & Quality
Well it’s been just under a year since I first bought one of these sets. Since then I’ve installed additional sets all always easy to install, working as stated and providing a good source of lighting for the landscaping needs. The finish on the first set looks great still now I’m just tracking how long they will last before the LED lights burn out.Over-all review definitely a value for the cost, to date it’s passed the durability even after accidentally stepping on a few by landscapers cleaning up the yard no visible damage to finish.
