These are the best recip saw blades I have ever used. I have tried Dewalt, Kobalt, Irwin, Black & Decker, and Stanley blades, and these are by far the best out of the bunch, and they are cheaper than most of them also. I use my recip saw for all kinds of things, from cutting small branches off of trees, to cutting out studs and rafters, to cutting metal frames on trailers. Most blades will work great at first but then seem to wear out quickly, especially when cutting through metal or wood with nails in it. These seem to be lasting a lot longer though. They cut great to compared to the others, leaving a nice smooth finish on the surface of the cut as to the jagged striations left behind by the others. I cut through a vertical standing 4x4 post and it cut so smoothly that when I had cut all the way through, the top part dropped directly down on top of the lower portion and landed up perfectly, just like you see in the movies when someone cuts something with a ninja sword. This set comes with short wood blades, short nail embedded wood demolition blades, short metal blades, one long demolition blade, and one long metal blade. It is nice to have some many short blades since most of what is cut uses the first 3-5 inches of the blade, and on the long ones that leaves you with the ends of them never being used, essentially being wasted. The long ones are there though in case you do need them. This set also comes with a convenient flip top case to store all the blades in when they are not in use, protecting them from the environment, and keeping them all together so they don't get lost. Once I run through these and need more I will definitely be back to buy more of these.

I'm a big fan of Diablo blades in general as they are usually the best bang for your buck. But I've primarily only used circular saw blades of varying sizes from them. I wasn't sure that reciprocating saw blades would be worth the extra price. I used 1 blade to do a job that took me 3.5 blades the last time I did the same job. But this time the 1 blade I used is still good and the job didn't even take half as long. I've only tried the demo style blade in the misc blade pack, but Diablo is clearly always a good buy.

The blades are wonderful. I work in the garage or in the garden. These blades do not wear out.
