Excellent Captain’s chair
I am really delighted with this chair. It is beautifully made and excellent value for money.It had been packed with great care and thought and was well protected.It was delivered promptly to the Isle of Man with no damage.I cannot recommend this company enough. Customer service as it should be. Thank you.

Perfect for the home office.
Loved the product online, read some great reviews and took a punt. It’s not cheap but it’s lovely quality, good communication from vendor and looks great.Comfortable, high quality and (I hope) durable it’s a lovely piece.

The company responded quickly to my enquiries assured me I could have the colour I wanted. It duly arrived, after messages it was despatched, several weeks before the expected date (they are after all, only a small mountain range away!). It was the colour requested, blue, which didn't appear on the photos. It took minutes to put together, and the quality was clear from the moment we opened the box. A beautiful muted blue, a sturdy, supportive chair, and I am considering what colour I want for the second one, because my husband is so impressed with it!

a nice chair if you don't want to return it
This chair looked great in the picture and was a good quality chair on arrival. I was only 5'4" so the tilt didn't work well for my height. The item arrived in two pieces once together they were difficult to take apart. The items were poorly packed with the boxes damaged on arrival - not the standard you might expect for the price of the item. I purchased the item because I liked the style and thought it was linked to the other traditional Chesterfield companies - this does not appear to be the case and the item did not come with any fire labels. trying to return was difficult I had to pay for postage £70 and am still waiting for a full refund therefore if this chair arrives and you like it it is a good quality good looking chair but beware of trying to return it.

Not the same finish as featured
I have one of these chairs that i purchased many years ago and still have and decided I'd buy another for my husband However this is slightly different from the original one and from the one pictured so a bit disappointing. Having said that this chair is very beautiful, well made and will hopefully last for a very long time
