Get this one. It’s the best. A little more costly (not much though) but well worth it.
This is a top notch device. Easier to use than the other models which are cheaper. This is a green laser and is so much easier to see in daylight. Red lasers are almost impossible to see in the light. This is the one for you if you’re looking for a basic, easy to use digital measuring device.

Accurate!!!
I love this thing so much. Where I’m trying to get quick dimensions for a room or need super accurate measurement for cuts that I need to make on the chop saw, this is the tool I go to. It’s so much faster than trying to run a tape measure long distances by myself. The green laser is really easy to see , and the setting are really easy to configure to your needs.I had one of these stolen along with the rest of my tools and it’s one of the first things that I replaced .So useful and so many different applications.

So good I ordered another one
Second one I ordered, the green laser is so much easier to read.

Works with rechargeable battery pack (sold separately)
I’ve owned many of these over the last 15 years. This is hands down my favorite. The green is much easier to see outdoors in the daylight. It also has the ability to upgrade to a rechargeable battery pack that Bosch offers. My only complaint about these was the rate at which they consumed batteries. Now with the rechargeable battery pack that is no longer an issue.Another great feature is that this model remembers the last mode it was in. With the older models I used to have to change the settings every time I powered them on. Specifically the “live measure” function that constantly updates whenever the laser is activated. This always seemed to result in more frequent errors in measurements so I would have to switch it to “single measurement” mode. (Solid line vs dotted line in the settings) With this model it remembers all the previous settings when powered off so it’s that much faster and easier to use.

Excellent solution if you can work out how to use it.
Probably a very good device but the manual is appalling and working out the different functions takes way longer than it should, simply because there are no clear instructions. The on line manual is next to useless (mostly filled with warnings about pointing lasers at people etc.) and the quick start up instructions in the box are about as obscure as they can get. I am very familiar with complex systems and how to use them (I am a computer systems and electronics specialist), but this one took way longer to sort out than it should.Although I did not want the BT connection option, it is not readily apparent which model supports it from the on line info, but a review of the included quick start eventually shows you what functions your model has. Pity you trying to work out this in advance. e.g. I had no idea there was a model with a lithium ion battery. The unit, once you have worked out how to make it work, is very accurate and the green laser is so much better than the red laser models. I still haven't worked out how to make it add measurements together for things like lights around a deck, but you can store each measurement and then add them up manually. Clearing the stored data requires you to work out a) how to get to the option to delete stored items and then which button deletes them rather than going back to Home Screen or turning the thing off.Pros:1. Well built and solid.2. Excellent green laser which is easy to see in most conditions.3. Compact size.4. Very accurate.5. Lots of functionality if you can find it.6. Runs on standard AA batteries. Not sure if the Lithium Ion option is an add on or you have to select it at purchase. Cannot comment on battery life as I have not had it long enough.7. Clear color display.8. Compact size.Cons:1. Terrible manuals and instructions.2. Not intuitive to use (buttons have odd functions in various modes).3. Not clear which model you have purchased.4. Buttons sometimes a little difficult to operate.Overall, probably one the best you can buy if you can work out how to get the best out of it (and the You Tube stuff is mostly reviews on how good it is and nothing about how to use, presumably most people are much cleverer than I am).

Best one that I've ever had
I've had four different laser measures over the years. Two were Swiss made made by Leica and we're good. I found this particular one is very comfortable to hold. It has a great screen and I like that it has a vibration function rather than a beep if you desire. It's a lot easier to know, especially in wind that the measurement took. Honestly, for $100 it is a fantastic and very easy to use machine. Because it has a big screen. I would highly suggest spending the additional $25 to $30 in getting the rechargeable battery that you can buy separately and it's made by Bosch. You can use a USB type-c to charge it. Because this thing will eat batteries more than a more basic one. The green laser is very bright and pretty easy to see even in bright sunlight. I work in real estate and this is the only thing I use for measurements.

Very well built and accurate
Nothing not to like. Fast accurate. Takes measurements in a few seconds without a helper. Doesn’t solve trig problems like the really expensive models, but who really needs that. For most uses it’s the best there is…BUT….Finally figured out why the batteries don’t last. After powering it off, it comes back on all by itself within seconds. In the pouch you don’t notice it’s still running until it starts buzzing. Now that the return period has expired, it turns out to be a lousy purchase.

Very good
I use this a lot for carpentry work, works wonders, very accurate. I actually own 3 Bosch laser measurement. I only had one go bad, acid leaked out of the battery and ruined it internally. Bosch is the best!
