The media could not be loaded. So glad I got this. We foster rescues and this has allowed us to contain them, but still provide ample room for kitten play. Remarkably, after four litters, it only has a couple small holes in it despite those little Freddy Krueger kitten claws regularly scaling the net walls. The walls ARE thin and seemingly flimsy but it’s really held up well thru a lot of abuse. Also, it can be collapsed down to take up no space.

This small animal playpen is great! Very excited when I opened the package. The storage bag and stakes round out the value of this product. It is a light weight pop up playpen for small animals that are not hyper, or are heavy or run around aggressively. It is not a heavy duty screen room. It’s well made and easy to operate. It folds into itself and twists easily to put it in the storage bag. The zippers are nylon or plastic but work well. The mesh is a fine mesh but sturdy enough for little critters. It’s thicker than garden mesh, so it’s smooth and doesn’t snag easily. But it’s mesh, so use common sense. I removed the bottom for the chicks, and it was easily re-zipped back on. Be aware the corners are like a tent, so best if you can stake them down. If the playpen is on uneven ground, the bottom will have gaps. Again, stake them down. Since we were looking for something easy to put away, not taking up much room, and not too costly, this playpen fit the bill! Very happy with this.

Like many, I chose this unit to be used as a brooder for my newly hatch chicks. I loved how compact it was and easy to store. Setting it up was effortless you literally just open it up and it pops up into the perfect form. For the first week, I use Chuxs instead of bedding, to allow the chicks to get a better grip for walking. The size fit Chuxs perfectly.This is one of the largest units I could find as far as a playpen goes. And I really liked that It was rectangular and not circular, which made it easier for me to access different areas within it. The mesh allows for good air circulation and yet will keep bedding from flying out, which was an issue I hated when using the traditional Brooder cages in the past.Things that I felt the company could improve on with this unit:There are zip over openings on one side, two of them, and on the top of the unit, two of them. The first thing I didn’t like is there’s only one zipper. Many of these playpen type units have a double zipper so you can determine where the opening goes. I found that as a big disadvantage, when I wanted to feed cords in and out. It’s a single zipper, it will always end at the top, and a cord will likely weigh it down. Which means that, as the chicks get older, if there’s an opening wide enough, they could get out. The same issue with the zippers goes to the bottom piece. It looks like a single zipper as well. And again none of them are in the corner so I can’t feed my cords out of a corner like I would want to.. another issue would be to have zippered side windows on both sides not just on one.But all in all, I really like the unit. It gives my chicks a lot of room, and I have nine chicks and one hatching as we speak. I love the fact that the mesh will keep the bedding in the unit and not all over my room. It is really easy to set up and easy to put back into its case. I like the fact that should I choose to, I can unzip the bottom and put the chicks out as they’re older in a grassy area supervised, of course… And allow them to experience foraging in a controlled environment.For the size of this unit, and it’s big, I felt the price was very reasonable.

Easy to pop up, zippers are stable and holding up to frequent use, no problems with leakage from the bottom. I have 30 chicks and so far only am using half the enclosure, I will open up the other half as they grow. When this was delivered, we set it up to see how easy it was to work and my 6 and 8 year olds crawled in with room to spare. Nice temporary enclosure and easy to pack up when not in use.

The media could not be loaded. What I liked about this item is the size and the convenience of folding it back up and putting it away.However, if you have rodents, This won't last very long. I put my rat in it so he can play but I have to supervise him. He's pretty well mannered and doesn't chew on a lot of stuff. I can leave him in his other playpen for hours and he never chews through the netting. However, this playpen is super thin and very flimsy. It maybe ideal for small chicks but not for rats and rodents who love to chew on stuf unless you supervise. But this would be true of any playpen for rodents. So far he's been a good boy. But I can't take my eyes off of him too long because the temptation to chew through the very flimsy netting would be there.My contacted the manufacturer and suggested they make a better netting. I mean that's the whole purpose is to make sure your animal is safe. Nothing but steel can probably stop a rat from chewing through something, but within reason, and depending on the personality of your pet, and with supervision, this little playpen is a alternative to have around and allow your pet some room.The best thing is this is very roomy and I can even get inside play with my pets . And you can just fold it up and tuck it away.

Great brooder. Easy to set up, plenty of room (12 chicks, 2 heat plates, 2 water & 2 feed dispensers) and several openings to make cleaning, changing our water/feed, and handling chicks, a breeze.

I absolutely love it. Great, large, easy to assemble pet space. Basically, you shake it out and it pops into place. The easy assembly and easy storage are the reason I gave it 3 stars for sturdiness. This is a mesh pet space. It is not meant to be very sturdy. It. has 4 access windows to help you reach your pets (wish it had at least two more). The bottom is removable with a zipper for when you want it on. I wish I could find puppy pads to cover each section completely for easier clean up. That being said, it is a mesh space that can easily be hosed down, and the bottom could probably be easily washed. It comes with a storage case and stakes in case you use it outdoors.

The framing is a bit flimsy but serves the purpose. Peeps love the room to run around in and fly. I have 12 in it at 7 weeks old and plenty of room.
