I bought this for my husband’s course curly hair. It is the best hair gel, ever. Hair is tamed but never wet looking. It lasts all day, even in the humidity, here in New Orleans. It always smells very subtle and good when you put it in, but no scent at all, after it dries. It’s quite simply the best.

My husband and son have been using this hair product for years. It has a very great scent. Normally, they buy it at their barbershop. Very useful that Amazon carries it in case their barbershop is sold out at the time.

I actually used a few minutes ago. Worked well so far, it also smells good.

Great product for styling all types of hair.

After a long time of not using my hair jell I decided that I needed a newer version of the Gentleman’s Republic because the one I has was years old, but when I tried the new one that I had recently bought I could tell that the strength of the jell was more weaker than the hair jell that was made a long time ago for them. This isn’t that big of a problem because you can always just put more jell but for me I dont like using large quantities of jell .And regarding the jell spilling situation, for me it came perfectly fine and it was even sealed in plastic just I case the container somehow opened.
